The dark femme glanced back at the brute behind them 'He's staring at us, it's kind of odd.' she let out a small huff before looking forward and picking up speed so she was just behind the colourless vixen in front of her and off to her left a bit, from all the running her small limp had started to show but she ignored the pain and trudged onward gazing ahead, seeing an antler poking up at the top of the large hill they were climbing she began to circle off so they could surround the large animal.

Blizzard growls softly and looks at his alphess"Send it my way ill bring it down so you two can finish it off". He whispers then stays there and digs into the snow waiting holding his breath hoping the two faes can lead it there before he has to come up for air.

Snow's nostrils flared out which let more scents flood into her nose cavity where she would get the best quality of scents and the one that filled it, was a old elk. She quickly identified it as a bull, which wasn't the greatest, but it would have to do as her pack was starving. Soon over the horizon she saw large antlers. She slowed her pace to only a trot and lowered herself toward the ground. The Arctic then positioned herself downwind of the large animal making sure that the creature couldn't see or smell her. Her paws placed down on the ground softly so it would be interesting if the older elk could hear her. Her large receptors flicked as she heard Blizzard's whisper. "I'll spook it. You two make a semi circle around it in case it gets spooked. If it doesn't, then try to get in behind it." Snow ordered with a whisper as she then swiftly launched herself out from cover. The elk's ears perked up and it snorted and reared up on its hind legs. Snow let out a threatening snarl toward it and mocked lunged at it trying to drive it back.

Blizzard pokes his nose out of the snow to get some air for a second. He poked it back in and wait for the sound of the elk to run by. He had his eyes closes so no snow would get in it. He waited moving but left a small hump so Snow and Cherokee knew where to lead it.

She circled off to the side and watched as Snow went in to attack, once the white wolf had gotten it's attention the vixen darted towards the large animal, rearing up onto her hind legs trying to get the beast to head down hill towards the awaiting brute. Narrowly dodging getting a hoof to the face she growled and grabbed a fore-leg in her bone-crushing jaws and sinking her ivories deep into the layer of flesh. Finally getting the beast moving down hill she started snapping at it's heels, running along side it making it run faster. She circled off again watching, and waiting, to see if it would head towards the brute. If it changed course she would jump in again but until it got to him she'd rather not get any fatal wounds.

Snow watched as the old bull elk reared up on its leg powerful legs as if it was going to land its hooves directly on her back. Luckily for her, she had quick reaction time and easily sidestepped out of the way. Then she saw her Betess running in, her large structure easily outmatching hers. The Arctic saw as the elk buggled out in pain and began running toward blizzard. But there was a problem in this hunt, it was a bull elk, which meant they were less likely to run away like a cow. Snow quickly gave chase next to her Betess and snapped her jaws close to the feet of the elk. Then suddenly it skidded to a stop and Snow let out a snarl as she had to back up so she didn't run into it. The old elk had stopped just in front of where Blizzard was hiding now and turned to face the two vixens. The Alphess's tail raised up high into the air and she let her lips curl over her white ivories, however in response to that, the bull elk lowered its deadly antlers toward the ground and began to shake them toward them. Snow barely got out of the way in time from its deadly points. "Now Blizzard!" Snow barked loudly, and she didn't care if the prey heard her because it wouldn't be able to understand their language either way.

Blizzard comes flying out of the snow and clamps onto the creatures soft hind leg and drags its rear into the snow and gets it stuck. His lungs begin to hurt hoping they finish it off soon, the buck kicks his other leg nailing blizzard in the muzzle and it bleeds more. He closes his eyes so he doesn't get his eyes poked by the sharp hooves.

A deep growl escaped her jaws when the elk narrowly missed Snow, her protectiveness of the female kicked in and she quickly decided to step in. "Now Blizzard!" she heard the alphess command, then the brute popped up and made the elk collapse in the tunnel. [Making it more realistic e.e'] She launched herself at the bull's jugular trying to bite at just the right angle to cause it to start bleeding and choke on it's own blood narrowly avoiding it's large hooves in the process, only getting a couple small gashes here and there from the edge as she kept clamping her jaws down at it's throat. [Gruesome bish xD]

Blizzard lets go of the leg and pops out of the snow, he quickly turns his massive head. When he does this blood flings all over the snow and he goes and sits on a rock, after he gets there he begans shaking his head and blood just flings an splatters the snow.

Snow watched as her pack went to work on the bull. She decided to join and leaped forward, and now that the bull was lower, she was able to latch her jaws onto the muzzle of the bull. This way the deer would slowly suffocate and die, along with blood loss. Her large canines pierced through the deer's flesh and she felt as it began to tilt over toward its side. Snow also used her front paws to slash flesh on the side of its neck where she could reach it. So far they were winning, and since the bull was old, it soon fell onto the ground, but continued to struggle. The Arctic wolf landed on her paws and continued to chomp down onto the bull's muzzle and pretty much ripped it into shreds. Since her Betess was on the deer's jugular, it took a little bit before it finally let out its last breath in her maw. Feeling it go limp she opened up her jaws and now her ivories weren't white, as they were covered with crimson liquid. Blood dripped from her jaws and blood splattered on the ground and she took a minute to catch her breath.

Blizzards face was bleeding as he sat down breathing hard. Blood dripped nonstop and soon he started to wobble from dizziness. Blood flowed from his eyes and he shook it off. After five minutes he fell over even dizzied now.

Cherokee jumped back away from the large animal, shaking blood from her maw sending splatters towards the ground. Looking up towards the brute she raised a brow, "Snow, he's bleeding badly." the taller of the two vixens stated lowly.

The male padded slowly about his gaze weary. He was tired and sore from the days of traveling and right now he was starved. He could smell the blood coming from a fresh kill nearby. If it was a fresh kill that mean wolves were truely about which bugged him. He's never gotten to close to a pack before that he didn't know. He shuddered in horror and perked his russet colored ears. He didn't go any further but made up his mind to stay down low and keep silent.

Cherokee lifted her dome, taking a deep breath in through her nose. She could smell another wolf but she couldn't tell where it was coming from the scent of the fresh kill was blocking most of it. "I'm going to go check the territory for those who don't belong here." she muttered lowly, taking one last glance at the bleeding beta. "He needs to find a place to lay down.." she flicked her banner with a bit of attitude mixed in but not directed towards her alphess, she padded away. 'A smart wolf wouldn't put them selves into danger by staying stuck near an kicking elk.' she thought with a rather annoyed tone. Once she got back to the top of the hill she started running down the other side of it, not exactly paying attention to where she was going she bumped into a brute with a rather odd fur color. [Not used to seeing colors aside from black white and grey on others xD Sorry but he needed to be found asap because the storm is going to start soon.]

He didn't know at first that there was a wolf heading his way. He was hungry so them smell of the fresh kill clouded his thoughts. Before he knew it something with a black and white pelt came barreling into his. His instincts quickly went into to attack mode, his gaze wide and his teeth bared. "Who are you?" he snarled lashing his banner in utter annoyance.

Blizzard stood an followed the betess wolf tothe top of the hill"Here eat". He smiles dropping a piece of meat at her feet and looks at the male"Who are you"? He asks growlin at the newcomer.

Blizzard sits down weak from the loss of blood and coughs shaking blood from his face. He looks at Cherokee and then at the new brute-He better not hurt her or ill shred him- he thinks to himself growling being protective of the betess.

She relaxed a bit, seeing that he was being respectful now. "What are you doing here?" she questioned, there was only a bit of a growl in her voice still. She wasn't one to trust new wolves easily, she still didn't trust the new beta but she wouldn't say that to anyone. She looked back at said brute with a slightly annoyed look. 'He shouldn't be following me. He should be resting. We don't need members dying this early in our start.'

"I smelled the fresh kill" he murmured trying not to let a whine escape his maw "I was hungry and wanted to see if I could scavenge". He looked at the other wolf just behind Cherokee and he found. "Possesive?" he questioned so only she could hear him.
